School-Specific Associations


Each school in Oulu UAS has its own student association. These associations promote students' interests, offer services to their members, and sustain the student culture. Some of the associations run their own business, such as a shop or a café.

School-specific associations serve their members' interests by

  • organizing feedback conversations and surveys within schools or degree programmes
  • mediating messages from students to the administration
  • informing the student union about educational challenges in schools
  • taking part in student union's activities
