The student union OSAKO arranges the traditional Shrove Day’s Rally on the 18th of February. The location for this snow sliding competition is the hill next to the Raksila Swimming Hall. The competition starts after 19:00 when all the participating teams have been signed up.
The competition is a traditional snow sliding event, where you can slide down the hill in teams and get points from different criteria e.g. sliding style, team spirit and outlook.
Gather up a team with 3 to 5 members and take part in the coolest competition! The three best teams will be rewarded. Advance sign-up for the teams is open till 16.2. 4 pm to following address: laura.tuhkala@osakoweb.fi. Sign-up possibility also on the spot from 6:30 pm onwards.
The student union serves some hot juice and Shrove Day’s buns.
After competition you can warm up your toes and tips in Fiona Night starting from 10 pm.
